Er beginnt, Messger\u00e4te f\u00fcr magnetische Felder zu entwickeln. 1948 gr\u00fcndete er\u00a0 in Reutlingen seine eigene Firma und suchte nach M\u00f6glichkeiten, die Ergebnisse seiner Forschungen am Kaiser-Wilhelm-Institut in Berlin umzusetzen. In den 50er-Jahren wurden dann\u00a0 die Grundlagen des elektromagnetischen Pr\u00fcfverfahrens erarbeitet. Dr. Friedrich F\u00f6rster erhielt hierf\u00fcr 1957 den Victor de Forest Award. Dieses elektromagnetische Pr\u00fcfverfahren wurde bereits in den 50er Jahren wissenschaftlich und mathematisch untermauert. Seither entwickelt FOERSTER Systeme zur zerst\u00f6rungsfreien Materialpr\u00fcfung, Detektion und Magnetfeldmessung.<br \/>\nDie Institut Dr. Foerster GmbH &amp; Co. KG ist heute immer noch ein Familienunternehmen, derzeit unter der Leitung von Felix F\u00f6rster mit Thomas Himmler und Dr. J\u00fcrgen Schr\u00f6der.
